FVMBA joins IMBA

The Fraser Valley Mountain Bikers Association is proud to announce that we have joined the International Mountain Bicycling Association as an affiliate member.

What does that mean to us? It means that the FVMBA can draw on IMBA as a source of support for advocacy issues, gain access to the assistance grant programs available only to IMBA members, and a number of other useful benefits.

Feel free to e-mail us with any questions that you might have about this or any other issue related to mountain biking in the Fraser Valley. We look forward to hearing from you!

Latest from the FVMBA

For all of you who check this page on a regular basis, we haven’t disappeared! FVMBA members continue to work hard for a sustainable network of mountain bike trails in the Fraser Valley. There is some phenomenal work being done all over the Valley at places like Vedder Mountain, the Woodlot, and Sumas Mountain.

We were able to swing a deal that gave us the opportunity to send a couple of FVMBA members to the recent mountain biking conference in Vancouver (at no cost to the FVMBA); the contacts and insight gained at the conference will undoubtedly help our cause well into the future.

Thanks again for all of your support! Look to hear from us soon and keep sending in those membership applications (and bugging your friends to do so too!).

Remember that the vast majority of the funds raised by the FVMBA goes back into the trail system.
