Midsummer FVMBA update

Just a quick entry to let all of you know that we’re still out there, trying to keep all of the trails together through what is typically the most difficult time of the year for trail maintenance. While the sunny weather is nice because it gets people out and they don’t have to suffer through rain, wind, or snow, the dryness that goes along with the sunshine turns well groomed trails dusty. The dryness also prevents us from doing any substantive trail work at this time of year, which is why you’ve seen less building activity on the mountains. Rest assured, once we get back into the cooler weather of Autumn, the trails will be dialled in for another year.

As an aside, we finally added an image to the top of the page. Thanks to all of you who contributed photos — many of them will make an appearance over the course of the next year.

A big THANK YOU to Abbotsford’s
DR. Phil Shaw and family

It’s actions like this that really inspire us .
From all the directors of the fvmba, thanks Phil.
