Trees down on Eric Dunning trail
There’s some decent cross country riding in Golden Ears Provincial Park, but the riding trails haven’t seen any work for a long time (so much for those parking fee revenues propping up any area other than the campgrounds…).
Eric Dunning Trail
There are a fallen trees about halfway down the trail. They’re on a semi-blind corner, so please be aware if you’re riding through there. Also, the main access road, leading up from Mike Lake has been deactivated for safety reasons (unstable slope), so your only access is a grunt up the trail.
The rest of the trail has seen better days and tonnes of water have really done a number on extended parts of the line.
