Woodlot trail conditions: May 2008

Everything’s pretty good right now. There are some mushy parts on pretty much every trail though, so keep that in mind. If anyone has info about Goldmine / Cabin, please post it up in the comments sections below.

Note: If you can’t ride something, please get off your bike and walk past the problem area! Do not create your own line around something that’s giving you a hard time; instead, drop us a line and we’ll consider an around line if it’s deemed necessary. Remember that if you’re just learning how to ride off road, you can’t expect to ride every trail out there!

We rode Cabin yesterday, and it is in perfect shape.

No snow, a little water on the hike-a-bike in. Also rode Snakes & Ladders, Gold, Blood Donor, Giant Killer, Hoots and Shotgun. All were great except Gold - it is basically closed down - we hiked down more than 1/2 of it.

Also - the bridge out over the creek out of Platinum is broken - and it is around the bend - so be careful if you are riding it.

How do I get to Arduum? I see it off Dewdney Trunk, but what dirt road gives access? Please???

Last Tuesday 10 of our group pushed our way up to the top side of Burke Mnt. We started out at Triple Crown, the trail was alittle wet but very fast, good work on all the repairs and tree clearing guys. Its nice to see you guys working on and riding the old school trails. We pushed out on the Flywheel Trail, it was clear muddy and rough, but alot of fun…… Try it guys you’ll love it.
