Woodlot trail conditions: July 2008

Pretty good all-round conditions; a little bit of washboard on certain corners but good stuff overall.

There are still lots of bears around, especially in and around the lower clearcuts (berries!), so keep an eye out and try not to end up in a wrestlin’ match with an angry momma bear.

There were several trees down on Snakes and Ladders that have now been cleared. The trail is clear from top to bottom.

There’s a mom and two cubs strolling around in the lower clearcuts. They’re not aggressive but don’t put yourself in any awkward positions. Might be a good idea to leash your dogs in that area too.
