We were just sent a link to some video footage of the recent rally up at Vedder Mountain. There's a great interview with Mark Steinbach that illustrates a lot of the reasons why Vedder should remain open to the public.
Thanks to Geoff Edwards at Look-Ear.com for the heads up.

Monday the 21st of february is a big day for the associated users of Vedder Mountain. A meeting has been set up @ 1pm at the forestry office in Chilliwack with logging officials, and Coalition reps. of Vedder Mountain. Unlike the hockey season that never happend, both sides are prepared to help each other out to find a way to end this issue with practical and functional solutions. More to come after monday………keep your levers crossed!

This is a message to all users of Vedder Mountain. On sat/19/feb @ 3pm, there will be a meeting of all user groups with B.C.T.V. It is important that we have as many people show up to this event as possible. The trails we all love to ride are in danger of being logged as well road closure during these times of the logging project. If you can make it, please bring your bikes and as many people as possible to represent the community and those who could not make this important meeting. There is a chance to make Vedder Mountain a recreational area only and this will be one of the biggest steps in that direction. FVMBA thanks anyone willing to participate and hopes to see many familiar faces as possible!!
NOTE: IF you could park @ the Cultus Lake parking lot at the bottom of Endo and ride your bikes to the base of the mountain that would be great!

Ron must respond to each individual email sent to him by the public demanding answers and proposed solutions to this situation. Make this guy earn his fat cheque by overwhelming numbers of emails, faxes and phone calls. This is our way of speaking out and showing representation of a wide user group who cares.
Thanks for the support!
