Auguston and their Abbotsford Tech District project.
Adopted Trails: Squid Line – Sumas Mountain | Noodley Appendage – Ledgeview
Abbotsford-based Auguston Town Development Inc. is part of a family-owned international conglomerate that was built on a foundation of almost 80 years in educational publishing. Auguston has been gradually developing almost 1,000 acres of land on Sumas Mountain since 1995.
Auguston’s proposed Abbotsford Tech District would be a new tech-focused community situated on more than 100 acres of that land. Thousands of people will live, study, work, and play there as a complete community is built out in phases over 30-40 years. With a focus on Abbotsford’s powerhouse agriculture sector and strong aerospace cluster, the Tech District will host education, research, and commercialization across the tech sector. The goal is to provide outstanding local educational opportunities for young people, well-paying tech jobs, and a family-friendly residential community.
