Fraser Valley Mountain Bikers Association
The Fraser Valley Mountain Bikers Association (FVMBA) is a registered non-profit, volunteer-run organization that advocates for and maintains multiple recreational trail networks within the Fraser Valley in partnership with different land managers, including Recreation Sites and Trails of the Province of British Columbia. The mission of the organization is to build a culture of inclusive mountain bike communities and sustainable trail networks. We actively maintain over 600 km of multi-use trails to provide a safe, enjoyable experience for trail users, including mountain bikers, hikers, trail runners, and others.
Position Overview
The FVMBA Senior Trail Crew Lead will work under the direction of the FVMBA Operations Manager to assist in the supervision of the FVMBA summer trail crew and assist in the repair and maintenance of authorized multi-use trails within the Fraser Valley for which the FVMBA has stewardship responsibilities. All work will follow best management practices for long-term sustainable trail solutions that improve the safety of the trail network, protect the environment, and provide an enjoyable trail experience for all trail users in order to benefit the health of the community.
