Curious about what’s in the works for 2023 and beyond? We’re excited about the year to come and here’s a little teaser of a few of the things we have planned.
First, some BIG news! The FVMBA is excited to announce that for the very first time we will have a year-round trail crew. Noah and Jared first joined the FVMBA Summer trail crew in 2021 and returned Summer 2022. Thanks to funds from memberships, grants, sponsorships, and contracts, we are able to have them continue to work on the trails for a full year. This is a reality made possible with your ongoing membership support!
But that’s not all. In addition to regular & ongoing maintenance, trail plans for 2023 & beyond include the following…
Year-round trail crew with two crews running in the summer
Rebuild woodwork on Mandatory Caution at the Woodlot, Maple Ridge
Restoration of Jolly Rancher at Bear Mountain, Mission
Bridge replacements on Squid Line at Sumas, Abbotsford
Brushing trail at Red, Bear, Heritage, Sumas, & Vedder
Archeological assessments for potential new trails
Signs & trail kiosks at Woodlot, Maple Ridge
Tool storage container at Sumas Mountain, Abbotsford
